Milne Family Tree

Milne Family Tree

I am related to the Milnes via my grandmother, Isabel Beatrice Milne. Her father's name was Charles Alexander Milne.   Isabel went on to marry Joseph Daniel Zawada, who had by the time of their marriage changed his last name to Wades.

The information provided below began with me searching our Family Bible and loose notes found within the Bible, as well as a website which had finally revealed to me who my Great-great-great grandfather and grandmother were after years of searching!

The author of the notes in the Milne Family Bible is "Aunt Dolly", twin to Russell, daughter of George Bannerman Milne. For cross-reference, please also check out the McBean family history, as well as notes on the McBean family.

If you have any information on the Milne family name prior to 1809 that ties into the names below, please email me.

Update: Nov. 19, 2004 -   Information has changed in the GEDCOM files below. I will upload a new GEDCOM file as soon as I can. Thank you for your patience.

Update: Jul. 10, 2004 -   I have put up a GEDCOM and PAF page - you can find it by clicking here.

Update: Apr. 11, 2022 -   I am finally adding updates from Ancestry.com to this page, so the GEDCOM / PAF files above are woefully out of date.
I have to remember how to generate one of those things, and will add the link here when I figure it out again. It's been 18 years and my brain grows foggy. ;)
